FETA will give credit for certifications received in other states, territories, or countries provided such certification has been approved by IFSAC or ProBoard and FETA holds accreditation from the issuing accrediting agency at the time of issuance. Certification must be within the last two standard updates or the candidate must have no break in service.
Certifications without IFSAC or ProBoard recognition received in other states, territories, or countries will be accepted as completed training records.
FETA shall not issue a reciprocity certification with the IFSAC seal and number on it, but may use an accepted reciprocity certification to allow an individual to enter into the next higher level of Louisiana certification or receive a certification without an IFSAC seal.
