Description: The Apparatus Driver Operator - Aerial is a person that can safely operate an apparatus equipped with a permanently mounted aerial device and all systems associated with the apparatus and device, safely operate the apparatus over streets and highways, set up, stabilize an aerial device for operations at an emergency to provide rescue, ventilation and egress for victims and firefighters, and operate an elevated water delivery system.

Requirements for Certification: Candidates shall be at least 18 years of age. Complete a practical skills examination with a "Passing" score. Complete an 100 question written examination with a passing score of 70% or higher.
