Description: The Apparatus Driver Operator - Pumper is a person that can safely operate an apparatus equipped with a permanently mounted with a pump and all systems associated with the apparatus and pump, safely operate the apparatus over streets and highways, establish a water supply from an internal, external static or pressurized water source, operate pump to supply various size attack handlines or master streams, set-up and support operations using foam and built-in fire protection systems using a standpipe and operate pump during a relay pumping operation.

Requirements for Certification: Candidates shall be at least 18 years of age, complete a practical skills examination with a "Passing" score. Complete an 100 question written examination with a passing score of 70% or higher.
