Course Description:


This course is designed to provide the rescuer with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform lifting and stabilizing of objects during an incident. This course is two days of hands-on training to move objects, gain access, and free trapped victims utilizing low and high-pressure systems and stabilization devices. This gives students more in-depth knowledge of airbag bag systems and their uses that is not covered at the basic firefighter level. This course is offered along with our Lifting and Moving component here at FETA. Participants are required to bring the following PPE: an approved helmet, steel toe boots, gloves, and eye protection.
