Course Description:
FETA offers Paramedic Refresher courses in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Bureau of EMS and the National Registry of EMTs. This class meets NREMT (La.) re-certification requirements for NATIONAL CONTENT 30 Hours.
Note: Additional national and individual content required. Hours must be completed for re-certification purposes.
Attendance at all sessions is mandatory. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate from FETA. Course documentation is kept on file at FETA.
Prerequisite(s):
- Be currently nationally registered, & licensed Paramedic by the State of Louisiana, or have lapsed no more than two years from the National Registration expiration date.
- Meet any additional requirements imposed by the Louisiana Office of Hospitals, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
- Proof of health insurance is required.
- Additional Information: CPR re-certification and ACLS re-certification is not offered or covered by this course.
